On cold rainy nights my heart loves spending intimate moments with my old books reading poetry, mysteries, and ghost tales by the warmth of the fire. I love old English homes and gardens with their heritage flowers, antique roses, old fashioned pinks and lilies of the valley. The solitude of the countryside brings a sense of peace within me. The sounding surf of the ocean smashing against the rocks washing up the many treasures to seek on early morning walks on the beach. I love listening to beautiful, haunting music and nature’s elements inspire my creativity. I love walking in the deep wood covered in a blanket of moist fragrant moss. I love thunder storms ~ the sound of lightening cracking apart the clouds letting thru heavy down pours. Collecting old things ~ connectors to times past. I Love time well spent with my kids and their dad and watching them playing soccer. On windy days I love watching my daughter’s kite travel up to the white billowy clouds and swearing I’m hearing Buzz Light-year say “ To infinity and beyond ” as the rope of the kite is pulled with mighty force up to the heavens vanishing into the white of the clouds. A Dreamer obsessed with England and the Past !
Hi Sherry,
I'm taking a break from creating the background music on blogger. I'm playing with the Cottage page instead. Glad you like the music but I am afraid if it is only one song one will tire quickly so I am trying to have more in a group. I might have to resort to a visual player which I don't think I want for now. I'll pop over to your site and Lynn’s sometime today, nice to have met you.
Hi Lynn,
Thanks for the welcome.
Luv England! I guess you must miss back home ...many memories there.
I been trying to create a playlist for my blogger so I'm putting all my effort in it at the moment. I also want to create a personal website so the music part of it I want to learn before I go any further. In the mean time I am working on a special house and tree. When I finish the pieces I will post them here.
Nice to have met you.
Hi Annabelle, welcome to Etsy Cottage Style :)
Your Etsy shop is lovely, you are so talented. Oh I love England too, I was born and raised there before I came to Canada when I was 17 years old.
